Intratuin Duiven opened the new catering facility on Friday 30 March 2018. This now covers approx. 500 m² kitchens and distribution and approx. 1,000 m² terraces on the ground floor and approx. 700 m² terraces entresol.
The extension of the store (approx. 8,000 m²) and expansion of the warehouse (approx. 4,000 m²) were already taken into use in October 2017.
The total intra-garden now covers an area of ​​approximately 32,000 m², of which approximately 25,000 m² is a shop. That is about 5 football fields in size with an entire route of 1 km long, which can of course be shorter.
The entire Plaza Graafstaete complex now covers an area of ​​approximately 50,000 m².
Due to the expansion, you can hardly call Intratuin Duiven a garden center anymore, it is more of a green and experience center.
The new catering area, also called De Proeftuin, is located in the center of the store. Various seating areas have been created with a different atmosphere and style in each corner. From Botanical to oriental and from sweet to tough.
The catering area has 800 seats and a team of 50 employees ensures that the guests lack nothing. All fresh products come from our own "Vegetable Garden". The "Vegetable Garden" is of course also open to the shopping public.
There is also plenty of thought for the children, there is a children's play paradise with climbing garden with climbing possibilities up to 4 floors high. There are also many slides and trampolines available.
