A first for our agency is the 3D scanning of an existing building.
With the latest equipment, restaurant d'Oude Waegh in Hoorn was recently scanned and used as a base for the drawings of the new situation.
This technology measures the existing situation as a point cloud or point cloud.
A major advantage is that all angles, skews in walls and all detailed information can be translated one-to-one into an architectural drawing as in a photo.
With regard to the work at restaurant d'Oude Waegh, after the high season the construction of the mezzanine floor will start, accessible by a staircase from the existing restaurant. The mezzanine offers a further 10 seats.
