Revitalization Praxis Gardencenter, Beverwijk (the Netherlands) 2015

In 2015, Praxis DIY chainstore presented a brand new formula for garden centers, which also operates independently from DIY markets. 

With the Praxis Garden Center, Praxis wants to appeal to a target group other than DIY; the female target group. It is basically completely focused on greenery, as well as on decoration, pet supplies and catering.

On 11 March 2015, Praxis opened five Praxis Garden Center branches in: Amsterdam South-east (the largest Praxis of the Netherlands), Heerlen, Beverwijk, Venlo and Roermond.

Breddels Architecten created the design for all new Praxis Garden Centers.

The façades consist of printed façade cladding and durable wood sections. The choice was made for façade coffers based on aluminum sandwich panels with a plastic core, which can be mounted easily and quickly on location. The scratch-resistant and sustainable prints have an ivy leaf pattern.
