New build Hortes Tähesaju, Tallinn (Estonia) 2019

Hortes, managed by AS Hortes, is Estonia's leading retail brand for home and garden products. Breddels Architecten was commissioned to design a garden center for Hortes Tähesaju in Tallinn.

The new garden center is part of a newly developed shopping and leisure park Tähesaju, with a concentration of strong brands and many amenities such as a large sports center, ice rink, swimming pool and a 9-hole golf course. Tähesaju is located only a 7-minute drive from the center of Tallinn.

The new Hortes garden center has a surface floor area of ​​nearly 5,000 m² and is built with wide glasshouse trusses. The outdoor sales area has a covered pedestrian route. Half the roof has been built in such a way that it provides protection against the wind and rain. This enables customers to visit the outdoor sales area any time throughout the year.
