IGCA delegation visits Abbing garden center to view new store
Monday, August 29, ’22 was the day. The IGCA International Garden Center Association visited the new garden center Abbing in Zeist with 220 participants.
The meeting co-organized by the Tuinbranche Nederland visited garden center owners and suppliers. They arrived with 5 buses after the kick-off meeting in Amsterdam the night before.
Upon entering, the first people to see the climate square where we had applied various useful greening ideas. A green wall IGCA delegation visits garden center Abbing to view new store system, climbing plants, water retention in fences, native and exotic planting ideas, sedum roof and of course bee-friendly flower bulbs.
Visitors could feast on the new building and associated shop fittings. Together with the Bolhuis family, we looked for a suitable concept with GardenCenterAdvice. We were able to design, supervise and help with the selection of suppliers.
IGCA participants come to the Netherlands from all over the world to visit various garden centers and green-related suppliers and events.
The Floriade will also be visited where people can marvel at international entries and green solutions and buildings.
