Beach Hotel Zzzoomers
29 JAN 2019
The time has finally come and Strandhotel Zoomers in Castricum hopes to open its doors this autumn.
Strandhotel Zoomers consists of a beach shop with accommodation options above it. Overnight guests can have breakfast and dinner at the adjacent Zoomers Beach Pavilion, also owned by the same owners.
The design that Breddels Architecten has made is loosely based on the former tea house of the owner's parents, also known as Duinzicht and later De Jutter.
Sustainability is central to the new accommodation, also known as Zoomers Beach Lodges. The new building will not have a gas connection and will be heated by a pellet stove. The pellet stove will heat the large boilers for hot water. A total of 280 solar panels will be installed on the roof of Strandhotel Zoomers and Strandpaviljoen Zoomers.
