An eye-catcher with a view
The eye-catcher of the station area in Heerhugowaard will be the tower containing 113 apartments varying in size between 55 m² and 125 m².
It will be a stepped tower with lots of greenery. The tower will be provided with a parking garage and a parking deck on the garage. The ground floor offers plenty of opportunities for commercial functions. This will also benefit the liveliness in the area.
At the top of the tower there will be a viewpoint that will be publicly accessible. From here you have a beautiful view over the Oosterdel area and Heerhugowaard.
Next to the residential tower, which will be given the name Waert-Dijck Toren, there will be a care building with 64 apartments. These are homes for people with dementia who need intensive care. In addition, there will be apartments for independent residents who can live with lighter care.
Both buildings are being developed sustainably and built gas-free.
